Where are some good places to ride in Florida around Tampa..

Ocala National Forest. It's 100 miles from Tampa but worth the easy drive.

 

thanx man, I'll have to drive up to Ocala sometime.. We own some property up in brooksville so it won't be that bad of a haul..

 

Where in Brooksville? I spent 17 years in Hernando Co., even graduated high school there. Glad I moved up here though! I remember Croom when it wasn't fenced off or regulated at all, no quads at all, they weren't invented yet back then! ONF is much larger than Croom, the Big Scrub area is the area that I like best. Just don't ride on the numbered roads {crossing is ok} and be respectful of the land. $100 fine and the rangers are out and about if you get busted!

 

right off of I-75 near mile marker 2--?? I think forget the exact number.. I was riding near Z-hills this weekend @ our other place. We got lots of rain down here. Great stuff. My buddy drove our Prairie 400 4x4 while I drove my cousins 650.. Caked him completely with the rooster tails, fun stuff [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

It has rained non stop today. We are going out to Big Scrub early tomorrow morning. Bet we find a little water out there!! Come on up sometime!
