There are actual atv/motorcycle trails everywhere up there. No web site that I'm aware of but you can obtain maps from the Chamber of Commerce. I've been riding up there for 5 years.

When are you planning on riding at BRF. A group of us (15 or so) are planning a ride there the weekend of October 19 and 20th. Let me know, maybe we can meet up.

Guys, Be aware......

The BRF trails CLOSE the 15th of OCTOBER and re-open DECEMBER 15th -- CLOSE again MARCH 15th and again re-open MAY 15th every year. No exceptions.

The trails up in Hurley (Iron County) are ATV only no MX bikes. I always thought that they were open to MX bikes too until this past year when I brought my two boys along with us. They were on a KX65 and TTR125 and both were told by law enforcement that the trails are closed to any type of NON registered machine (meaning ATV's only).

They allowed the boys to ride the rest of the weekend and I will probably bring them along next year as well and risk it. I would be cafeful about a CR250 however. That will stick out like a sore thumb.

Happy trails.

Default Ride in WI, 3 hours from Twin Cities?

I was riding in Clark County on Monday, and all I can say is that I hope they realise what a treasure they have up there!

There is no where to ride around here, and I am heading back up there again on Sunday to get a little more of that washed out, pot-holed, mud-fest goodness!

I am glad I will get one more chance to blast through those two foot deep twenty foot long non stop puddles that I was skipping through at 20 mph. I have never been so wet and cold, and having such a good time, all at the same time!

I can't wait to get back at it!!!
