We usually head out around 8am so we can get down there at a decent time. I already have a sitter for the kiddies so its just gonna be me and the lady ready to hit some trails.

April 5th, I'll try to be there. The pictures that I just posted are from the mx track at Finger Lakes. Trust me there are several hills that are almost impossible to walk up, yet there are trails where people will go up them. I have failed on some of them, and made it up worst hills than I have failed. There are ways around every hill, so you don't have to go up them if you don't want to. I go around. If your coming from KC take the Rangeline exit and go North, it will bring you right into 63. The 63-70 intersection sucks, and takes more time than its worth. You'll pass a Philips 66 (on Left) go about one mile and the road to Finger lakes is on the Right. The signs are those small brown conservation signs so don't pass the road.

I forgot to mention that at Finger Lakes the only thing that they do require are helmets. You would be suprised of how many people will go on a group ride and there will be someone that has always forgot their helmet.

Hi everyone, I am Doug, new here. I live in Kansas City Kansas, ride an 01 Lakota Sport. Have been to Deepwater and loved it, the drive to get there sucks. Never been to Perry, but have been told it is usually crowded. Usually ride with a friend up past Excelsior, (his inlaws have a farm), he doesnt ride as often as I would like to though...hahaha, and I dont go riding alone. Would like to meet others in the area to have fun with! Drop me a line! drogers744@kc.rr.com

Hey everybody,
I live in Holt which is just next to Kearney, MO and I just went to the new mx and woods park in Hampton, MO. It was pretty nice. A nice section of woods course and a huge brand new MX track with some big time jumps. I'm not an MXr but the woods was really fun. They have some tight sections and some fields where you can go WIDE open!!! It's $10 and open on Sunday's when the weather is cooperating. Here is the website and also here is an excerpt from the website. http://groups.msn.com/GrindstoneMxpark

I live in holt also. Is there any little areas around us that can be ridden. I've seen people riding the old quarry on the hill on PP hwy, but I know its private property. How far is it to the new track from us?
