Can anyone tell me some riding spots in Virginia?
Preferably around Richmond, VA. I'm a beginning rider so I am looking for easy comfortable places to ride to learn the machine. I don't want or need a lot of mud,water or rocks at this time, as I need to learn how to handle and ride.

There is an ATV park in Surry that I hear is good, Slades Park. It's right off of rt 10 near Bacon's Castle. There is also a spot that alot of people ride in Chesterfield across from Southside Speedway. Your best bet if you really like to ride is to join a hunt club. even if you don't hunt, it will give you access to some good riding. I am in a club in Sussex where we lease 4500 acres full of fire roads and paths. Have found the South Pedler Mtn area as a fine place, also the Taskers Gap is interesting if you prefer rocks.

For me I prefer the area called Blakey Ridge, it is behind Madison and Ruth, is 10 miles with harder side routes.
