Does anybody know of a place to ride near Punta Gorda off of I-75. I have seen ATV's getting on I-75
near there and will be in the area during X-mas.

I just visited a place southeast of Punta Gorda, in the city of Naples, I give you directions in case you want to travel alittle (60 miles) Take I-75 south to exit (old15) make a left (north) at the light, go to golden gate bvld. turn right (east) to everglades blvd. turn right go over I-75 park to the left or right or main trail entrance is about 1/2 mile past I-75 marked with "56" painted on the street, turn right trail entrance is 200 yards on left.

I just came from there last weekend, loved it...grabed a hotel and spent the weekend there. I drove 160 miles, up from Homestead,Fl.

I got the site from

I grew up in Naples and know where you are talking about. I am thinking there is a place to ride about 60 miles north on the east side of I-75. Anybody know where this might be?

hi trx250rob, I just started riding again about one month ago. Havnt rode for many years (15) Everwhere I used to ride at before now has houses or farm land or there hunting going on.......and those hunters dont seem very welcoming even thoe they also are riding ATVs when you ride near by. I havnt been to the MX track but Im looking to meet some people to ride with, right now Ive been going by my self ( not much fun or safe) Let me know if you want to get together some week and ride?

Sounds good, I know what you mean about riding alone, now too fun I ended up buying my wife a little atc125m just to have someone to ride with. E-mail me at robg@znets.com and we will get together. My schedule is usually pretty tight but I try to get out about 2 times a month, it's a real mission for me to get out to ride.

ratrider I know exactly where you're talking about. I always see it on my way back to sarasota from ft lauderdale. Its on the east side, near the highway, I've seen the atvs running around there, have no idea how to get to it though. Doesnt look hard to find though, its fairly close to the highway. I'd get off and start taking right hand turns =]
