Yeah, it's a 240SX. Do you ever go to marshall creek? I was there yesterday. Occasionally I see cops driving around the park. I just assumed that they are bored and just pop in to see what's going on. It turns out that they are actually patrolling the park! The cop pulled me over with flashing lights on as I was leaving the park. He said he clocked me at 37mph and the speed limit was 25mph. No ticket though.

A stock DS650 comes tuned way down and doesn't have all that much power. I'm trying to get my performance kit tuned just right.

Do any of these places (shiloh ridge, fun wheeler, etc.) require a spark arrestor? I am running a racing pipe. They are not state parks right?

Where are you guys headed this weekend?

Today I was riding at Marshall Creek making some adjustments to my carb. I didn't have a helmet on and the cop saw me and got on my case.

If you ever want to do the weekend camping trip, Sam Houston National Forest has alot of area to ride and camp. You can probably ride for 8 hours straight and never cross the same trail. It's mostly ridden by 4X4 quads and dirt bikes. Spark arrestor, registration sticker, and helmet is required. The trails run through the forest and are tight and long. I would guess it's about 3 hours south from Dallas. North of Houston, exit New Waverly, head west a few miles and grab a campsite out in the woods. Usually your not bothered by park rangers... but just when you do something wrong, they show up.

mudmachine, I guess with all the rain we've had, the trails are pretty muddy and flooded at Fun Wheeler. I was there this past weekend and had to turn around on all the main trails due to deep water. The drag strip was nice though.
