Pairof98s,
No! I think the Fayes place you are talking about is the Buckey store and cabins. It's a neat place, but a little more rustic than sugar creek and the price for both is about the same. The Buckeye is about five miles up a county road from Sugar Creek. I don't remember the county road number, and I can't tell you if it is north or south from Sugar Creek Lodge. I lose all sense of direction when I am around there. You will find the Sugar Creek Lodge we are talking about at http://www.sugarcreeklodge.com/. It's a great place to stay and some nice folks own and run it. One of the really nice things is you can be on trails in two minutes when you leave the lodge.
I will put a note on this forum when we know when we are going.

Dusty- That's it. The Buckeye retreat and store is where we stayed. Very cool place, but for ATVing, it was about 6 miles from the trails. With more than one ATV, the guy in back (my wife) was totally dusted going through those roads. I will definitely try Sugar Creek Lodge this year. Post the dates when you are going and I'll try to meet you there.

The room that we rented at Whip-poor-will was $55.00 a night for a 1 room cabin. They have a bigger cabin but I don't know how much that would be.
The cabins are real close to the trails, so all you would have to do is hop on your 4-wheelers and ride. The trail is about 1/4 mile from the cabins.
When you purchase the permit, you will receive a map of the riding area...the trails are marked some, but not every one, but the map really helps alot. By the way the permit is good for 1 year, so the earlier you purchase it the more you would get to use it and there is no special registration papers, just your drivers license, to the best of my poor memory.
If the weather is nice I am thinking about going up this weekend on a day trip.... . Holler at me if you can make it....it is suppose to rain Wed, Thur., and Fri. but clear up Sat and Sun. Maybe it will be nice...

Do any of you guys know if there is a spark arrestor requirement at WPG. Planning a trip later this week, but I've never been there before. Suppose I could put the stock exhaust back on for this trip. Also, I'm taking the kids, 12 and 5. They both have their own quad, but not very experienced yet. Are there plenty of easy trails for them to ride? Thanks.
