Ocala National Forest is huge and awesome
Call the rangers and ask about ride areas - Big Scrub is popular but wooped out and kinda boring-
ask if Lake Delancy is still open
...really depends on what kinda riding you want
Lake D is rustic and wild as compared to Big Scrub
both areas require primitive camping
I have stayed at a place called Mill Dam RV resort - $55/night gets you a "cabin" overlooking Mill Dam Lake
Park the ATV at your door, ride to Big Scrub and surrounding areas
I did the "sinkhole trail" to the north
I did juniper prairie to the east
I did big scrub to the south
all from the mill dam resort - the only gas station/C-store in the forest
it might be your best bet
tips:
carry and use GPS and maps, water and fuel
easy to get lost if you dont pay attn
mill dam resort number is : 352-625-4500
hope this helps.

Ocala NF trail types:
mainly hardpacked trails, most are well marked but be sure to check about closed areas prior to arriving ... maybe others can add their remarks ...
I ride a utility 400 4x4 but the raptors and the two wheelers are OK, too
good luck ... and ...ahem....there (hopefully) will be no need for the HD trojans in Ocala NF

I posted some Ocala National Forest trails at the ATVFlorida.com web site. Check it out. I also have a few GPS coordinates if you're interested. The whoops are pretty bad close to Big Scrub but once you get away the trails seem to be a little better, especially if you take trails that aren't used as much. BE sure and stay off numbered roads because the rangers are looking harder for violators due to recent crashes. If you go to Big Scrub, the campground host is very helpful. He deals with ATVs almost every day and can tell you the latest on what's happening with law enforcement. Have fun.....
