I Tweeked my back changing the cooler pads in my swamp cooler and it's kinda tender vitals right now but I think I'll be up for the ride\ and I'm loaded and ready to friggin go go go. Hey all.. I am headed out tonight to work 2 of my stores now at 6pm. I am going to start at 4am tomorrow to be able to make it on saturday.

<u>If we could leave the time at 10am that would be cool.</u> That would give a good buffer for me in case someting goes wrong and would keep my stress level down. By the looks of things it should go smooth.

I have Jay, Ragged's, and Rockmans cell numbers. I will keep in touch with Jay and Ragged.

Jay: I will call you tomorrow morning at 8am to let you know my progress. And yes I will be tagging along with you.

If I get off really early I will give a call to you 3 so we can possibly leave earlier.

How long will it take to get to Tresoro from Spokane? Are they doing construction on the Freeway on the weekends, and are there any delays?

My cell is 509-595-7543, if anything changes. It takes me 1 HR to get to Spokane, so I will need to know ASAP.

From downtown Spokane at the 2nd and Brown onramp it takes approx 45 minutes not pushing it to get to the Fernan exit. It is about 40 to 50 miles roughly from downtown Spokane to CDA.

If your coming from colfax going thru the freeway construction at 9am you shouldnt have any problems. I know its down to 2 narrow lanes and about 45 mph. Dont speed thru the zones. I have heard there are cops waiting.. After you get past downtown its smooth sailing. I dont know if construction is going on on the weekends. Doubt it..

As far as the Tesoro. Its the last exit as you go out of CDA. I believe its marked Fernan Ranger District? Somehow exit 15 pops into my head..

Well folks, sorry to say but it looks like I wont be there in the morning. Wife and I are down 3 of 5 kids and plans changed. May-be next time.

 

The Fernan exit is exit 15.

It comes right after the 15th street exit as you head East, so don't get confused and get off on 15th street.

I did not know about next weekend but will try hard to be there. Is it posted on the club website? I will check it out when I return. My back is still kinda tender but I think it will be o.k. all I can do is go and see how long it lasts..... We'll be thinking of you.........

 

well...as Pastor would say when you missed a service..."Boy did you miss it!!! It was one of the best rides we have EVER had the weather was PERFECT ..the views were outta this world and the fun factor was a 20 on a scale of one ta 10....I would say since you wernt there the ride would be considered EPIC by all those who attended...It wont be the same but I STRONGLY encourage you to get the tape...I mean DVD...I took about 100 pictures...and they turned out great but you really need to be there!!....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Zack was passed out about 5 miniutes after we left the McDonalds parking lot...lol...that was with outta dought his longest hardest ride....I am realy proud of him....It would have been REALLLLY easy for him to chickin out on alot of that stuff since he has never done any thing like it before ...but he sucked it up and made some great climbs...(boy was Dad nervouse when we pulled that last hill)....but up he went ...no problem!...I think hes has graduated to make all Dads ride now ...It dont get a hole lot better or harder for an 11 yr old ( or a 40 yr old for that matter) than it was today....GREAT RIDE GUYS!!
