Hey guys I hope every one has an awsome 4th. I am gonna go north alittle over to loon lake area this weekend. There are some pretty good riding areas over there so I will camp on my grandmothers property and spend the weekend riding. Things are settling down alittle so I may be able to go on some rides with some of you and finally be part of the group.

Hey all! Hope everyone had a safe and happy fourth! We went riding today up to Elsie Lake to place a cache of our own. The views up there are amazing. After placing the cache we did some trail riding and ended up on a trail that is definately for motorcycles only. Had to back out VERY slowly. Anyway after turning around we found some other trails to go play on and boy were they fun!!
Hope everyone else had a great weekend

my hole body is hurting .........but I did it! ......The pack in took almost 6hrs instead of 4 1/2 and the last 2 hrs were in the dark....
I realy didnt think my knee would hold up but I gues the Lord hear the prayers and all I had was a little swelling...
The terrain is increadable!! Ive NEVER seen anything like it....We were in the alpine above 7000 ft and were able to climb from there up the a glaicier!! We were just west of Levinworth so it was a close drive too!! The wives did verrrry well...I was concerned about Robin since she had never done any thing like this but she did great...I kept her pack at under 25 lbs and mine under 50 so it wasnt to bad...One guy we went with musta had the kitchin sink,,his pack was right at 100lbs!!
I'll try to get up a few pics...Better yet heres a link!! Just go to the end and look for this same post..
Any time you wanta ride just say the word Kevin...I gotta Scrambler too so we can tear it up!
Pastor missed ya up at Thompson creek today...Zak said he saw your truck...We did about 40miles and called it a day ...still recovering from the hike!! LOL

Well went up north to Loon lake area and had a blast. The rain held off all weekend which was kinda nice. The logging roads and trails I ride when I go up there have changed alittle. They are doing some logging up there which was started this past spring so there were a few new places to check out which were pretty fun. My uncle and I decided to make a little oval track on my grandma's property it is about 1/8th of a mile or so long, we are still working on it but it is a nice way to get some aggression out without having to go too far. All in all we had a blast.

Wow, pretty quiet on here over the 4th weekend. Hopefully everybody was out having fun.
Anybody do anything exciting besides those that have posted so far?
Wow, the riding in Easton was dusty dusty dusty. Mostly roads and some trails, along with some hill climbs.
One short hill that is really challenging.
Hope you guys had a fun and safe weekend

Ragged...I possibly might be up for a ride Sat. afternoon to the top of quartz mountain and then looking for the lost trail to ragged ridge I am searching my u.s.g.s. maps for a back way up ragged. From the washington side, most of the trails are posted to not enter on motorized however, I am not so sure that it is posted on the Idaho side......you game? Pastor
