ATV INSURANCE??? PLEASE HELP
I got my 2002 Rancher ES insured through my insurance agent at State Farm. I have fire, theft and vandalism coverage with a $500 deductable for $84/year. I had collision coverage on it to cover it if it fell off my trailer while on the road or something. I removed the collision coverage after 6 months b/c it cost an extra $101/year and I figured the money would be better spent elsewhere. I was shocked by some of the premiums that I've heard some people have gotten quoted. I'm not sure why I have got such a low rate. I double checked with my agent to make sure it is accurately covered and he said it was. Although, my family has had the same insurance agent for about 24 years or so, so that might have something to do with it.

ATV INSURANCE??? PLEASE HELP
I had to get mine through Polaristar (Markel Insurance) because my home owners wouldn't write an ATV policy in WV and I couldn't find any local companies that would write a stand-alone policy---if I had vehicle or other insurance with them it was no problem.....
I think the atv-line link above is from Markel Insur.....

Progressive Insurance-the best example of organized crime in the USA
If your homeowners insurance company says that your quad is covered on your homeowners policy , get it in writing from your agent. When it gets stolen, or burned up in a fire, they will tell you that it has an engine, and a title, therefore it needs its own policy.
I have mine through the same company in the hyperlink above.

ATV INSURANCE??? PLEASE HELP
The way the policy reads as I was told by the agents assistant... The ATV has to be used to service the property not necessarly how much it services the property. I have a rincon with a winch and I have on occasion pulled out bushes with my winch. In addition, I have some tree limbs that were hanging and I moved them with the ATV so, I think, technically, I fit that description, and therefore, he says, I am covered with a 500 buck deductible.
