Default ATV INSURANCE??? PLEASE HELP

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that after being in the insurance claims industry for a few years a while back I learned that the agents rarely know what they are talking about. It would be a good idea to call your insurance carrier directly and speak with a manager or supervisor in underwriting. It is very easy to misinterpet the coverages on your policy, some states have some extremely stupid laws pertaining to insurance claims and coverage also every state is different.

I understand that if your atv is over 3 years old it does not make sense to insure it. Is this correct or have I been misled... AGAIN... lol

Default ATV INSURANCE??? PLEASE HELP

I think it makes sense to insure an ATV if its of any significant value to you. If you have a 10 year old junker and its only $1000 to replace it, I would not bother to insure it.

I have insurance on my 2004 Twin Peaks 700 b/c it would be expensive to replace and I often see ATV Thefts in the news...also, I want insurance in case I accidentally nail a tree or roll my quad down a steep hill and total it.

Happy trails...

My 2000 costs 72 dollars a year for full coverage (theft, medical, comprehensive)

It would be about 2000 dollars to replace it. So for now, it's worth the money, to me anyway.
