LOL - no gators? There aint much fun if there aint no gators ...

seriously, dem gators are everywhere, you just gotta know how to avoid them ..

As Lightman Dave hinted in the previous post, we encounted a few on our last trip.
I was WAY TO CLOSE to a mature gator last weekend - probably less than ten away from a 5-6 foot long gator. With no weapon within reach, and only the **** in my jeans to repel this monster, I quickly reversed course and ran like the wussy I am.

Croom is not bad, I have been riding there for about 2 years and have not really had any problem with close calls. Woops will beat you up though, have Raptor and never get out of 2nd gear on trails. Would like to know of some more areas, been to Ocala, it is ok, seems to be lots of woops there also, must be something with the sand?? Seen some guys riding off of I-75 & 54 last Sunday, behind the Outback, might check that out next week. What's good down in Sarasota area? Going to Oklahoma to Little Sahara in a couple of weeks, anyone ever been there?? It is awesome, wide open.
