Let me get back to you later today. I have to check my schedule to make sure my wife doesn't have me lined up to do something.

There is a large parking lot at the base of the mountain. You can leave from right there and head up the mountain to the trail system. There is also a parking lot set up across the street from the main lot. It has been set up for campers. It is primitive, there is no water or electric. There is a creek behind the camping sites, but I wouldn't suggest drinking out of it. We have set ourselves up to be able to stay indefinitely. If you take plenty of water and take enough gas, you shouldn't have any problem. It's nice to be able to wake up and just take off. If you are going on a weekend, I would suggest getting there early, the parking lot fills up later on Saturday. There is another lot down the street, it's small, but will do if the others are full.

If you have any other questions, let me know.

Scott

dcatt, what time do you think you would head out to Westpoint. If I go, and I probably will, I'll leave early and it will probably take me 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

I'm headed out this morning. If you make it, I'm riding a red Yamaha Kodiak 400. I don't know if the service will work, but my cell # is 615-330-3262.
