I had one break through the ice once crossing a creek. It floated, I guess because of the air in the tires, long enough for me to wind out the winch and pull it to shore. I got wet because I had to get off the quad and go to shore to get the hook around a tree.

 

There is always at least one idiot in the bunch no matter where you go lol. needless to say if i where there i would prolly be the idiot

 

Been there, done that, and the wife was none too pleased with me! (did it with my truck once too ... ) I'll take the snow and ice over muddin' any day !
