Thanks for letting new guys in. I just put one in (dynatec fi) and it did get rid of the rev limiters but for speed 45 thats it,stock is 41 and the thing isn't by the battery you need to do a lot of work. Sorry bout that had to wine a little. dealer said same as I did on my 06 Rhino WRONG!!!!!!!

I had an 06 rhino that I put a black rhino cdi on. I went through three of them to get one that worked. Very poor customer service. Every time it happened they made me buy another one and refunded me when they got the pos that didn't work back! It was ridiculous. I told them I would never buy another black rhino product again and they didn't care, so I haven't and won't. I don't recall it helping the top speed, just better throttle response and a little more power off the line. One thing I have learned about all cdi's is to carry your stock one with you if you can, especially on trips. They are all prone to go out and they will certainly leave you stranded. I just quit buying them alltogether. The sacrifice of reliability for an expensive, albeit small gain in power isn't worth it to me. Just my 2 cents....

ok I have done some work with this same set up. What size tires do you have and any other mods?
Basicly what you need to do is install a clutch kit, your motor cann't turn the extra rpms that the box with let it. you need to lighten up your drive clutch wieghts maybe even put in a stiffer driven clutch spring. I would call EPI and tell them what you have, size tires, mods, and elevation.

Ya you need to call up EPI and get a clutch kit, your motor cann't pull all of that weight with stock clutching.
