Sand Skate 2
This weekend I finally got to try my new tires (Sand Skate 2's). As most of you probably know, they do offfer a lot of traction, and they slide almost too well to the point throttle control should be used to keep from going past center in a slide then getting tossed high side. On the Raptor I noticed they'll grab hard enough in a turn that they'll lift the front end causing the quad to try to go straight. That seems to be due to the Raptors short swingarm.
I know this is an old worn out subject on these tires, but that's my $.02. Would I buy them again or recomend them to someone else with a similar quad? Yes.

What's up Sixsixt? I went to Glamis, camped at Roadrunner. I also got my youngest son a set of Skat Trak Gliders for his TRX 90. They worked for him as well. I let a couple of friends and family try the Raptor shod w/Sand Skate 2's so I could get a second and third opinion. Also let my son race it at Old's hill. He Raced a DS and beat him twice, It was close.

NuG,
I think you'll be happy with them. I'm not a big drag racer, I needed a versatile paddle for allaround riding. Even if I did do a lot of drag racing, as far as a "V" paddle goes, I think they are right up there with any other tire with the same design. You won't have to worry about getting paddles glued back on etc...

I was out at Glamis about a month ago, it was a nice weekend but I bet it's getting a little warm now. A few other forum members and me are probably going to Pismo in the begining of June, keep an eye out for a post if you want to go.
As far as dragging with the SS2s I think their very close to 8 paddle haulers. IMO
