Try breaking loose the banjo bolt at the caliper until fluid flows out...retighten and try to pump them up...you may need to use a power bleeder

Have you bled brakes before? Its just like an automobile. You pump it up a few times and hold down on the brake pedal, crack the bleeder loose just enough for it to shoot out with out letting your foot off the brake and tighten it back up. Keep doing that for a while but never let the resevoir get empty cuz then you have to start all over.

pretty much. all the fluid in the line, from res to caliper, HAS to be air free. that means if you let the res go dry and the line sucks air, you have to pump that air clear thru the system and get rid of it. there cant be any air in there! get someone to help you, and assign a person to do nothing other than keep that res full. then it'll happen quickly. it's a lot to do for even two ppl - alone, its almost impossible without a power bleeder, which most folks wont have or ever use again.....

Remember that if your brakes, even on a car.PU fell spongy, the first thing to look for is a leak, since brake fluid is really dense and compresses less than air. step on the brake, the pedal is spongy, you got air in their somewhere. gotta get rid of it.

hope this helps ya. it's simple if you have help. NO air in system. thats the game. and dont chew yer fingernails. hehe
