When we DYNO a machine we will go up or down on the main, pilot, and needle untill we have reached max H.P. When finished we will then raise the main jet 2 sizes per carb. So just to eliminate there being any question about the jetting. We have DYNO over 50 raptors and never had a problem. Matt DTR Racing

Notice how DTR only comes on here to fix/correct bad stuff said about their shop? I'm beginning to wonder if they care about the customers being satisfied over there reputation? I still haven't seen my dyno chart or even recieved a reply about it, where it is Matt?

Sorry to hear of about the bad luck Bubba, I hope everything works out for ya.
Know you guys know why I sold my 02 686 and just ride my pipe & jetted 03. It starts so smooth and still gets me from point A to point B and back

LIke I said sea level is seal level if your in Oregan or Texas. I just didn't like the lean jetting or the mixing of jet kits

I am running 185-187.5 Mikuni mains presently along with DJ needles...I forget which clip position though (I have had them in probably 15 positions...stock and modified height).

Nothing special...10.75/1 JE in the stock bore and stage 1 HC. Open air box, powerbomb header and no end cap in my e-series. I was properly jetted around 180 until I started using octane booster (heard detonation on a launch) with premium unleaded fuel......which leans the fuel mixture out.

Air- Even i get tired of arguing but DTR is wrong here. Stock pilots, dj needels and mukuni mains WTF. We run cammed raptors on bigger mains than that. Bigbubba's rod broke because of heat and lack of oil. The heat was caused by the jetting to low. It only came out that after the failure that DTR did not use a fuel/air on the dyno runs. What DTR charged 300 dollars for was not much better than a butt dyno. A motor like Bigbubbas needs 190 or better on the mains for top end.

Does DTR tune are raptors that way???? DJ needels, stock pilots and mukuni mains?? BigBubbas power droped off at 6500 rpm from what i heard. That is the same as stock cam raptor. The reason his peaked at 6500 is because DTR was not dumping enough fuel in it to rev higher. BigBubba should have jetted up when he went to a lower riding area but even then he still would have busted the rod. He would have broke a carrillo rod with that jetting. If what DTR said a few post back- They get the best chart and jet both sides up 2 LOL

There is no way i would let DTR jet my quad. They charged retail for a wholesale job.
