OUCH, man that sucks. What fluid is in the cylinder in those pics?

I would tell him what to do with his head job if he didn't want to pay to send it back to where you got it from. IMHO

 

First thing, get a new mechanic. Get an estimate from another shop and present your ex-mechanic with a bill. If he doesn't pay, call the BBB and/or pay the $5 to take him to small claims court.

Was this done by a *professional* mechanic? And did you pay him for his work? I would hold on to that receipt if he gave you one.

 

I wouldn't let that dumb a$$ even touch my bike again, how did he put the piston in BACKWARDS![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

All you would need is half a brain, look at the top of the piston 2 on 1 side 3 on the other, match them to the head DUH! I would be so fuming! Have him get all the parts take them and send the whole motor to craycraft, then present him with the bill in the end.

THis is a very bad deal. He can not look at the Craycraft head and port another too the exact specs. An 1/8" here or there incorrect can actually wind up making less power than the stock head. Porting has too be very precise.....thats why Craycraft charges the big bucks....probably has a lotta time and effort in each head.
