Default Banshee - Big jet => Broke Piston

I got pro-circuit pipes and K&N (no srokel) and jetted it to 340s on an otherwise stock motor.
I was screaming pretty good til I broke a piston on the rear near the holes. The dang plugs
looked really good but I am guessing thats too much jet for a stock bore/pistons.

Anyway how the h3ll do I extract pieces of piston from the crankcase? I've hear rumor that
if you fill the empty the crankcase of oil and fill with gas, the metal will float to the top, but
I dunno about piston chunks. hehe Anyone got ideas? I dont want to split the cases if I
can help it.

Regards,

That does seem pretty fat on the mains for a stock motor, But I have never heard of being fat breaking a piston.

The piston skirts are known for cracking in front of the intake ports or braking in your case. I would plit the cases no matter what and remove all the pieces out of the crank area. Since you have the cases split, port match the upper case to your jugs intake ports for more intake flow.

I agree with ernie, there is no way to know if you got all the peices without tearing it down. It would only take one small peice to screw it up again.
