Oh yeah wheelies, When i first started shifting through a wheely it was tough to get the right balance point and use the clutch so i quit using the clutch entirely, just shift when the tranny and rpm matchup. It does get a little easier once you get into the higher gears but once you get to 40-50 miles an hour it gets a little scary.

I don't know what quad you are riding but I caution you and anyone else reading this thread, DO NOT shift the raptor without clutching. the ratchet style shifter used on the raptor will not stand up to being shifted under power without engaging the clutch. This is an excellent way to tear the transmission apart! Besides, if you are good enough at wheelieing to shift, you are good enough to hold it at the ballance point while you clutch and shift. It will also provide for a much smoother transition between the gears and might save you the embarracement of dumping yourself on your can when the bike jerks into the next gear.
