Default Factory Yamaha Service Book

Where can I look at or buy a Factor Yamaha Service Book? I have the Service Manual for repairing things but if my tranny goes. I would like to take this book to my Yamaha dealer to show them how long it should take them to fix my tranny. They have a big sign that shows they charge around $40/hr for ATVs. I saw somewhere on this forum that it should only take 3.5hrs to perform this work and I just would like to verify it.

Thanks,
ba01raptoraz

Thanks for the reply but as I stated earlier, I already have the Service Manual but it didn't see anywhere where the time it takes to complete each task was defined.

Its like an automotive shop, they get paid by the job. If the labor book calls for 10 hrs and you can do it in 5, you still get the full 10 hrs pay. If you dont want to pay the shop then I would do it yourself or find someone that can. I used to be in the mechanic field and thats how I would get paid is by working my a$$ off to finish more jobs in that week. I hear you on the price, I dont know how anyone could afford to take their bike or car to a shop. I save myself thousands of dollars each year. But do you see me working on other peoples cars or bikes..... no way !!! I like my hands to stay clean.

you need what is known as a flat rate manual.

usually, under waranty, the mfr sets the times, but out of warranty, the shops usually use a chilton or clymer flat rate manual. they make more that way. check those sites.
