Where did you buy your jet kit for your warrior?

The only online place I have found that offers jet kits for an 03 Warrior is Rockymountainatv.com (they offer the FMF kit)... but as luck would have it they are out of stock. Im looking for an alternate place thats reputable to order a kit from. Also anyone have any input on if brand matters on jets? They seem pretty straight forward in design... I'd imagine the kit with the best instructions would be the most desireable.

I got a great deal on a Quad-Works Stage I kit from Lewis at ATV Addiction. That includes the Dynojet kit, K&N filter and outerwears. If you are only needing a jet kit, I know he can get those too usually cheaper than anybody else. ATV Addiction is very reputable with great prices plus he's a preferred vendor of this forum.

Jakal basically because Im a newb and hadn't thought that you could buy just a main jet. This 03 warrior is my first quad and I'm not much of a mechanic, I just do alot of reading. I really want to upgrade the exhaust and airfilter (I have 2 main riding buddies... one has a Raptor and the other a EX 400 so my competitiveness is getting the best of me and my wallet) and so I've learned that I'll have to get a bigger main jet at the same time. I had just assumed that the "kit" was what you needed after searching online catalogs for jets.
What would you suggest I do? Can you just goto the local cycle shop and buy a single jet? I had planned on buying a 150 just from what I've seen others mention on this board... I live in Oklahoma City which is 1,276 feet above sea level.
Even though I don't know much about engines I had planned on doing this on my own for the sake of learning how to do it.

There are two brands of jets you can easily find. Dyno jet, and mikuni. They are different and they are kind hard to compare so pick one brand and stick with it. Buy about 3 or 4 sizes gradually getting larger than what you have and use trail and error to get your jetting right. Ever heard of a plug check or a plug chop? well they are annoying but the only good way to get jetted without a dyno.
BTW, jets are cheap individually. No more than 2 dollars depending on where you go. Easiest thing to do would be to ask around and find somone running almost the same setup as you. Then buy the jet he runs, one bigger and one smaller. That will make things much easier. All a jet kit is, is a bunch of main jets (some way out of your usable range) and a needle that you really dont need. I dont really know why people buy them. Except for raptors which use different size jets in each carb so they need alot or people who change elevation constantly.

What are you trying to run? Im guessing a 146~148 is what you need?!?! maybe higher though. An easy way to tell if your to rich or to lean is to cover up part of your air filter to see if it gets better. If it gets better your too lean, if it gets worse your rich.
