My 97 blaster brakes are non-functioning! They have been under water! Should I have them repaired, buy Trenga, or buy the Kasea 125 skyhawk brake system? I have heard that the stock brakes are not any good and that trenga's brakes may not be any good either..and that Kasea's will do the job....How do I find a the Kasea's?

For the fronts, get EBC pads. They are grooved and hold up much better in water and mud. A trick (as with all drum brakes) is to hold the fronts, as you drive, on a bit after coming out of the water.
This will dry them out and help to stop them from rusting.

As for the rear. If the caliper get's water in it, it rusts in a hurry. I would suggest getting it repaired, and have them put in EBC pads. (the kind for water and mud, forget the name)

As for juice rears, the Kasea's rear caliper, might bolt on. But your still left with rigging up the master cylinder. May just be better to adapt Warrior, or another quads, brakes over. That's what I did.

This is a common problem. The piston is most likely corroded in the caliper bore. Get your Clymer book out, disassemble the caliper, clean everything up, pack the adjuster w/synthetic grease, polish the caliper bore, wrap the piston w/teflon tape, put it all together and go a blastin!!!
