The only bad things are, no tools required to clean filter, we know what that means and It costs a ridiculous $6899. All that said if it doesn't beat a Raptor/DS in a drag race stock for stock the rider is to blame IMO. Very sweet, to bad they didn't ask $5899 thats more reasonable. You should get one for your son to ride on, alot safer than the rappy, but he DEFINATELY wont feel like hes put on a lesser machine. It is lighter, and lower COG so it would probably be safer for your kid, though I dont doubt his riding ability on the rappy. Just some food for thought. I think im going to get one, 1st year or not.

 

The engine is based on the YZ450F but its only 439cc compared to the 449cc bike version. Most likely for the make it racing legal cause its aimed at MX

 

Maybe in a year after I sell the YZ and recon I might look at one.
