I have a friend who works in a powder coating shop, and he told me he could get a quad frame done in any normal color for 100$ I was wondering if i could get my swing arm and A arms powder coated as well. and is it a good deal??? I was thinking a brite orange frame because i want to get those orange plastics as well.... but until then ill have blue plastics with an orange frame.

100 dollars to do a frame is a good price!!! I paid about 300$ for mine to be done! You can get anything powdercoated (as long as its some type of metal). Look at my pics... I have my side cases and frame done. I am currently getting ALOT more parts coated. Just be sure to take any and all rubber or plastic parts off what you are getting coated.

Yeah a 100 bucks is a deal. You would need to take out you lower ball joint on the a-arms but the top one doesn't come out and I think powdercoating it would ruin it.

Powder coating bakes on around 350-400 degrees and when it cools off it's harder than the hubs of hell. Be sure to mask all holes/ threaded holes with high temp tape. If not you'll be srcaping powder coating off till the cows come home. I did my first dirt bike frame (an 86' CR 500) in white and gold anodized the swing arm. turned out realllly sweeeet.
