you should be fine. i don't think that is considered a big bore. i don't think it is a big bore until you do a 240 kit. i could be wrong. i'm 20 over and going 80 over on my next rebuild. and from what i was told that wasn't a big bore.

I have a queston, when you rebuild, and go say .80 over, will it give you much more power?

also how much more displacment will .80 over give you?

When you “go over” that means to bore the cylinder to remove damaged material. If you go for example .020” over, that means they are removing that thickness of material from the cylinder wall. You will only gain 1-2cc for ever .010” over you go and you wont gain enough power to notice. You should not “go over” any more than absolutely necessary, because you can only go to .080” over on a Blaster (I think), then you have to resleeve the cylinder which is fairly expensive. If you go from .020” over straight to .080” over, all you are doing is wasting $s. 2 strokes usually only need to be bored .020” over the previous bore to be in good shape and sometimes don’t need to be bored at all. If you only go to .040” over you can bore it at least 2 more times where as if you go to .080” over you will have to resleeve it next time and will have gained nothing for it. At .080” over a Blaster might be a 205 or maybe 210 instead of a 195cc, but it would be a very small gain and not worth the cost in the long run.
