If you want to know the truth, I dont know how to put it in neutral! Just hold the clutch down? I thought it was in neutral, but it still keeps jumping, and going forward!

Ok Mrman15..
If there is a spark coming from the battery when you make contact then there is a powre drain somewhere. First, make sure the lights, key or any accessories that use power are turned to off. Then put the bike in neutral by pushing down on the shifter many times so that you are sure it is in 1st gear. Neutral is between 1st and 2nd. a small click above first and you should be there. Rock the bike back and forth until you are sure its there and then you are ready to try the battery installation. Good luck and please make sure that for the safety of yourself and anyone around that if you decide to go riding, get advice and know your bike first. The Raptor is not a beginners bike so be very careful PLEASE!!

ok...thank you VERY much. I found neutral ( baby steps...) but, is it suppose to spark ONCE when you connect the other head to the batt? Everything is off on it, and it still does that when they touch. Want to make sure with you before I actually keep them together.

Connect neg (black) first then the pos (red).Don't worry about if it sparks, just connect it. If later you find your battery is dying, something is draining the battery.
