ON the actual question I will give you my opinion.

I owned a raptor and then bought a ds650 baja. I have not been on a v force or predator.

My stock ds would beat my piped and jetted raptor by about a quad length, we swapped riders several times and the results were almost always the same, a few races the raptor one, because the raptor rider jumped the start.

So, it is my opinion the baja ds was faster. My buddy on my baja, which is piped and jetted, raced a stock v force and beat him both times by about 6 quad lengths or so in about 300 feet.

Of course with the same mods on the v it will be right there and maybe faster then the ds.

Havent gotten to race a V-force yet. But Bat, got the same results that I did racing my brother on his Rappy. Have raced a Predator. With me giving up over a hundred pounds to the rider of the Predator. We raced about 10 times. I won 8 out of 10. Usually winning by about a bike length. Traded rides and the Ds pulled away by about 6 bikes on a run about 150 yards.

 

anyone have any suggestions on clutches for a DS ?i finally got my tm45mm tuned in and my clutches really start slipping bad after 2nd gear.but man this bike really runs great and pulled hard untill the clutches started slipping.but its an 00 model with stock clutches and springs.ive already got ron woods hd springs now i just need clutches.

 

Stay with the stock fibers and metals. Just by the 60% springs that RWR offers.

 

YES, I agree! I just got new STOCK fiber disks and metal ones with ron wood 60% springs and it's awesome.

 

Correct... Stating that the V looks like a tractor, and that it is ugly, is not an opinion. It is a fact.

 

That I agree with, you spell like a 6-year-old.

 

I haven't seen them race so I don't know but as for looks I like the v700 the best it reminds me of a praying mantis the way the lights are placed looks like a praying mantis waiting to eat some helpless bug or small displacement quad. I like all these bikes but I can't afford none of them but I can admire them.
