if you haven't invested in a 14 tooth sprocket invest in one. I just put one on today and it is alot funner to ride. all of a sudden first gear has a purpose. also you won't have to shift through the gears so quickly. good mod for under 20 bucks.

Your advise is not always correct. There may be some people that would rather put on a 12t front for lower speeds like as in trail riding. Also long "4-stroke" hills would require the lower speed and more power. I guess it depends on what type of riding you do. Not everything that makes you happy will make everybody happy. Great going on getting more top end and a faster quad. Hope ya did not dmage the shadt the gear slides on, those are very pricey. Happy riding.....

what is the size of a stock one? how much top end do you think you picked up?
