Default HP at Altitude

Most of you guys that post #'s of 49rwhp running no air box lid, race pipe, re-jetted,etc
are normally running at sea level.

I would like to know the #'s from the guys running at higher altitude ie 1000 meters and above.
I run at 1500 meters above sea level.

You can see my setup in my sig, and I am currently at 39 hp. She runs very strong. I am guessing that because of my altitude, this is roughly the best # I will get.

Thanks for any input.

At that altitude I don't think you would loose more than 3 or 4 HP. The difference in the #s is probably due more to different dynos. That lid doesn't help much either, I don't think you'll get much over 45 HP with a lid on at MSL.

Figure about 2.5% to 3% HP loss per 1000 feet (305 meters) increase in altitude. So at 1500 meters you are losing 12.5% to 15% of your power compared to sea level.

Ok......so after 17 dyno runs, 39 hp is the best I will get at this altitude.

The shops all talk crap here!
