I have A 2002 blaster I put on an FMF fatty pipe with power core 2 silencer boyeson reeds k&N filter trenga racing 1/2 inch reed spacer I am trying to rejet it and I cant seem to get it right with a 290 main it bogs in 6th gear only if I go lower on the main it boggs and runs crappy all the time in the top end and if I go to a 300 main it runs crappy but it runs great in the bottom and midrange with all of the jets great all of these problems only happen in the high gears but the 290 seems to be the best exept for sixth gear any suggestions would be great thanks

 

A rule of thumb I use is to jet from the top down..

Pick the main jet that works best at full throttle in 4,5,6 gears

Next work on the mid range

Then work on the pilot and air screw.
