Definitly will be changed to 450.

If I remember right, the Pro Production class in GNC has a limit of 450cc and the Pro class is only 440cc. For GNCC there is no displacement limit for Pro Production. I think it was the Pro Production class in GNC that just got bumped up to a full 450cc this year, and that is why Yamaha will bump up their YFZ next year, because that is the class they are targeting. It would be a very easy manufacturing change to make, and I'm sure that Yamaha has already done most, if not all, of the engineering work considering the engine parentage.

Just another reason to wait for the '05s!

No need for yamaha to do any engineering work, I've been told that the 450 crank, cams, piston etc drop straight in.
