Purchased an '02 with 1100 miles on it. Runs great cold, but once it fully warms up, if I pin the throttle it wants to surge. Doesn't do it unless it is nearly wide open, and wont do it from 40 and up. Had side cover off, noticed that fuel line clamp was pulled away from carb and drain tube drips fuel (very little) when sitting. If I **** carb a bit fuel comes out of the drain/overflow pretty quick, makes me think someones been in carb before and maybe set float level a bit too high. Any ideas??

I have a 660 Grizzly 2003 and it does the same but I only noticed it recently during warmer weather. It's going in to the dealer next week for its first checkup and I hope they will find what's wrong with it. The Canadian ATV Guide (2002 edition) makes mention of a problem that resembles this one, here's what it says: "During the acceleration tests, a dip in the power band appears in the first meters, the clutch system adjustment seems to be the culprit. From a dead start, the Grizzly jumps ahead, and suddenly, a small dip in power if felt before reaching the higher revs." Hope this helps.
