I heard that if u can find the front disc hubs off of a banshee you can install them onto a pre 03' blaster?? I have asked a Yamaha dealer and he told me he didn't know. If anyone knows please tell em because I can get a set and I need to kno if I should buy them.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I have never owned a blaster, but I do own a banshee and I can see them fitting; I dont think Yamaha would go thru all the trouble and time of re-designing EVERY individual piece for a 2 stroke that they will only sell for a few more years. It's more cost effective for a company to be modular - to have components fit several different models... It's a shame that it took them so long to put them on in the first place, and is kinda puzzleling as to why they would even do it now with 2006 (anti 2 stroke year) approaching.

Getting back to modular designing- they have already used the "raptor's" handle bars and switch levers and more on all their sport bikes for the past couple years. They used to make these parts individual to the machine it was on. It is a waste to do that, so I can see yamaha adapting the "banshee's" brakes to the blaster. I think companies make kits that would let you do this; just look thru a dirtwheels or atvsport or 4wheelatvaction at some of the adds and product tests they do. ALso, just do a search on the internet for it, it probrably will show something.
