Default Bad Raptor Clutch

Ok, got my new 12T sprocket on, changed the oil (put in some Honda oil brand) and put on my paddles to head out to the dunes in Baja, Mexico. I started riding and decided to drag race some other raptors. I launched in 3rd, 1/4 up the dune I shift into 4th, all is fine until the engine just revs for a few secs. then pulls fine. Felt like if I had hit neutral or I pulled the clutch. I put on my stock tires and it still did this but in 3rd gear. Seems to do it only when pulling hard(under load). This is on an 03 LE Rappy, drop in K&N, E-series pipe, Dyno jetted, 12T, Sand Geckos. I wrecked it a while back and it never did that before the wreck, dont think thats the cause though. What could this be? Thanks!

Forgot to mention I also put on a new IMS Direct shifter, if it matters. BTW, shifting was nice and smooth, neutral is easy to find. Only negative is that the travel on the shifter seems to be shorter and needs getting used to, shifts are a bit different now.

Make sure your clutch cable is adjusted properly, it may have been off after the wreck. there should be 1/8 to 1/4" of play in the lever before the clutch starts to disengage.

I'm not exactly sure of this but I heard there is a rev limiter on the rappy's. Maybe your reving it too high as to where the limiter cuts it off....

I know Im not hitting the rev limiter, I might hit it when I launch in 1st or 2nd, but not third. When ever it did this, I was not even close to my rev limiter and was in 3rd or 4th gear, not catching air or spinning the tires, just pulling hard up the hill. I thought it might be the different kind of oil.
