Raptor decompression pin problem
#1
Does anyone have a problem with their decompression pin on their raptors? A freind of mine keeps shearing his off, and we're not sure why. We think it is because he has a stage one hot cam installed, and that he would need a special pin to fit properly in the new cam. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks

If all he's doing is shearing them off then you are lucky. Mine damaged the left exhaust valve, call Hotcams and have them send you the required pin. Last winter is in the time frame of the bad cams.

If your friends cam has HHT on the end of the cam where the sprocket bolts then it is one of the cams that needs the specialy designed pin. Hotcams will take care of you if you call.
