Not to get involved in you guys little Quarrel, but I was just in at the local dealership today and was talking to the guys there about the YFZ450 that they have in. They told me that the YFZ is severely choked down from the factory. However, they did not feel that even in stock form that it was a gutless turd. They said that it had better than most across the rpm range power (Not as much top end speed as the Raptor, but that is to be expected.) and was fast reving.

Then they did some playing around with it. They removed the baffle from the muffler, took the airbox lid off, and re-jetted it. The difference was NIGHT and DAY and the best they could do to describe it was WOW!!!

I think that there is no doubt that Yamaha has raised the bar BIG TIME with the YFZ, hopefully there aren't any first year Glitches.

It's only smart to choke up a quad like this.

That way when a liberal Democrat pipes it, pulls the airbox lid, and gets hurt they can't sue Yamaha.

BS!!! You can admit on here that you really ordered it for yourself and that your wife is going to get the Z400. I am willing to bet that she doesn't even get to touch your YFZ unless she is giving it a washdown... hehehe
