What I want to know is - with all these stories I've been reading about here on the forums about everyone's dealers having YFZs in stock - why do we not have any credible ride reports from forum members?

When the rest of the new sport quads have come out, you could tell the day they hit the show room floors in various parts of the country with ride reports and pictures galore....

Just wondering what all these YFZs are doing sitting in dealerships & none in any garages...

One of my favorite stories is from (cover your eyes kids - I've been informed this is a "forbidden" word) z 400central - someone there claimed that a friend showed up with a trailer & a "test" YFZ sometime around the release announcement - basically said the Z400 would outrun, outhandle, and had better build quality than the YFZ. The whole subject was laughable, but the Z guys were eating it up..... The gullibility on that board was amazing.

Oh man, I love my z as much as any quad I've ever had or ridden, but I know if the yfz wasn't way better it would be a major disappointment. I bet those guys were throwing a party, but I'm not like that if something better comes along I'll congradulate anyone that gets one and go take my smoking like a man. What can you expect to a forum devoted to the z? I don't know how even they could beleive the z is more reliable, heck the yfz is only like two days old I doubt if ones broke down yet to know it ain't reliable, give me a break.

I think we should all chip in and get Ridley and predator530 to meet somewhere and for us that can't make it we could get a video camera and post the video on here. I'm serious I think they'd both do it if they lived closer. Ohio to Texas is a pretty good haul. I'd have to pull for Ridley because predator started this post to dis yamaha's.

I posted a thread in the sport quad forum that asks is the yfz the most hyped or talked about quad ever. So far I have found (good news for the yami. guys) that the mighty raptor is easily the most talked about quad on the forums and yahama as a whole is talked about more. I mean good or bad yamaha has the most interest right now. I think you guys have the most interesting line up of sport quads easily, of that there's no doubt.
