hey i'm just lookin for some advice for my kodiak, i only have a warm winch on it right now, it works, except for when you go through ice... hehehehe, and the yamaha dealer wants 192 bucks for a new throttle assembly, would it be better to just get a twist, or does anyone know of anyaftermarket assemblys for kodiaks? (i rolled it on ice last winter, broke the thottle) One more, whats the top speed you've brought your kodiak up to?

 

Hello. I don't have an answer for you throttle question but can tell you that my 02 Kodiak will only go 80km/h. It would go between 80-85km/h before I got mud in my belt compartment. When I have more time I will take it apart and clean it properly.

 

'03, 400 Kodaik got 82 KM/hr on flat hard packed trail with 5 psi of air in all tires. 200 lbs man.
