As I have stated before, look at the R&D and developement turnover in the sport bike (CBR600 etc) category. Way more complex machines, just a little more in cost, and they are refining every nut and bolt on those things every year. If they wanted to, they could scratch build a quad in 6 months. It mystifies me that they (Honda) are leaving this much money on the table in a whole category of machine, while other manufacturers are raking in profits from an underfed customer base.
