Default New Grizzly

I have a 03 grizzly and have only got to ride about 3 times, today after work went down to a river bottom pretty close and after riding for a while the belt seemed to slip. I haven't been in mud or water can heat make it slip? It would slip when it started pulling good like out on the road. It will still pull a wheelie but when you get out and start getting in it thats when it happens. I have never owned anything but a honda till now I really like my grizzly so far. Any suggestions?

the belt should never slip on the griz, in any conditions. if yours did or does slip, it has gotten wet, got mud/gunk in it, or is wayyy to long between cleanings. chances are it has gotten wet. maybe it is leaking on the rubber boots? this has happened to others.
i would pull the clutch, mic the belt, and check it for glazing. grease up the weights, and i am sure it will be fine. i can stand mine up without the belt slipping, and it never should. you might have glazed it by now though.
good luck.

I always use High on mine when riding just trail riding. If I get to a really muddy section I will use 4 in high and if that still does not work... I go for 4 LOW baby and use all the power that she has got... WOOHOOOOOOOOOOo... Just hold on!
