They dont totally suck at it, but they are not the best or anywhere close to a 250r obviously.
They just weigh more and are front end heavy and also it requires a little more throttle work.
They are also a little harder to move around in the air. I have a 2001 banshee and a R. I took an unknown jump ( i didnt see this obstruction) in 5th with the banshee across sand and landed WAY out from the obstruction- but the basnhee did touch down nicely. I was suprised and thought I was gonna have to wind up eating some sand while I was sailing through the air. That was my best jump i ever had on one. Most of the time they do touch down a little harsher than the other performance bikes. So, it doesnt totally suck at it, but it will eventually wear on you more so than some of the other bikes.

Banshee's really arent the best, stock, for jumping. I can imagine with aftermarket a arms and shocks it would be nice. I once over shot a dune on my banshee, and got 25 foot of air to flat ground. It landed super harsh and bucked me off (probably cause I was knocked out).
