LMAO...I was on my 2003 Vinson Auto and my buddy was on his 2001 Quadmaster 500 and this piped Warrior came up and passed us....he flew right down the road...my buddy took off and passed him np...then I passed them both. That Warrior sure as hell won't keep up with my 03 Grizzly....no way in hell. This road was a legal road for us to ride on by the way.
Believe me...spend some time on a fast 4x4...they ARE a rush! It's kinda like putting a 350 in a JEEP....many people do it. I can tackle some hills that sportquads would dream of making....as some hills sport quads are better. Believe me...I know. Been ridin' fast stuff for about 25 years now.
When it comes to power....the more the merrier. Am I wrong boys?

My Wolverine would outrun a quadmaster 500 4x4 and the manual shift quadrunner 500 4x4 when it was stock. I think if the Warrior was tuned right he could handle ya. I dont know how fast the Vinson it though, I can only go by the 6.9sec 200ft in ATV magazine. Id like to ride a Vinson, they look nice. Just my thoughts, Im bored, its almost 1:30 in the morning

I would like to ride a Vinson just to see what the hype is about. I've heard that they are probably the fastest 500 4x4 available. (Scrambler not included)
Whoever said they got 67 on a GPS on a Grizzly is making me want to go buy a GPS again. I only got 60 with 65 on the speedo back almost 2 years ago. I want to check it again. That or I need to have the local five-o clock me on a backroad.

My Grizzly was GPS'd on a very slight downhill....that's the only stretch we had at that time...I should have mentioned that. I used a Garmin GPS12.
Hey...did ya do filter and jets with that HMF slipon? And..did ya get the quiet core? Big difference?

Yes, I got all my stuff for $295 shipped from East Kentucky Tire. (www.4atvtires.com) Didn't get the quiet core or spark arrestor yet, but I probably need that spark arrestor. Its loud, but it makes a difference. Power gain is noticeable, and I was really afraid that it wouldn't be much before I bought it. Thats why I waited for a long time. Their kit came with the jet kit and filter. Probably the best deal on a pipe and jet kit as far as I've seen, and I shopped around too.
The GPS I used that time was a Magellan 315. I bought it at wal-mart, tested the top speed, then returned it. Didn't need it as much as I needed the $180.
