Cobra Exhaust

Default Cobra Exhaust

Does anybody know enough to tell me the pros/cons regarding the above product?

From what i have heard there is little if any performance gains it just makes it louder.

Same here, heard loud, no performance gains. I have never seen one on a quad, only in a dealership, this is only what I have read. If they were decent maybe some might be running them.

Default Cobra Exhaust

I have one on my old Big Red 250 and it did give me a noticable power gain, but the quality of the exhaust is plainly crap. I only had it on for a couple of days and the packing was all blown out, its annoyingly loud, it began to rust after a couple of months and the silencer completely fell apart on me once. I wouldn't recommend one to anybody unless cost is a big issue (that's why I got one). My advice is to try to find something that has a much higher quality than a Cobra.

They are crap dude go get yourself a curtis sparks or something preferably curtis sparks. sparks racing go check em' out.

I have one on my 300ex worked for me.
PRO loud, CON to loud, PRO alittle gain in power rejetted with lid off, CON to loud, PRO so loud wife hates it so I get to sell the 300ex and get another Raptor. See it works.

Nice job!! Thanks for the input, got it as a gift for a Warrior, so not going to hurt to use it, I won't put it on my YFZ450 though ( I mean once I get it of course.....drooling.....).

hay dfitz how many jet sizes did you go up and how many needle positions did you move
