Default Banshee rebuild?

My banshee has just started making a noise from the engine that sounds like there is a tiny ball bearing bouncing around in there. At idle it only taps a couple of times every few seconds but when I hit the throttle it taps a lot. It is also noticable when decelerating. I don't know much about the tell tale signs of a rebuild on a two stroke engine but this definately is something I don't want to ignore. If anyone could please tell me what might be wrong, I would greatly appreciate it because I would rather fix it now instead of waiting until something terrible happens. Thank you very much.

Are you sure it's the motor???? Could it possibly be the kick-starter??? The kick starters usually loosen up and start rattling after a while. Have someone hold it while you rap the throttle up a few times and see if it quits ....

I think it is your clutch basket moving around on a loose bushing. But it could also be a crank or wrist pin needle bearing.

The sound is definately from the engine, and it isn't the kickstarter. I myself think it is probably a wrist pin bearing, but I will have to check into the clutch basket bushing thing. Anybody else have any suggestions?
