Default Wheelie on a Raptor.

I know there alot of topics about this, but here is another question. When I pull one on my raptor, and get it right at the balance point, then it starts to fall so I give it more gas then it will misfire and spudder. It seems like it is flooding the engine from the extreme incline. Is the anything I can do to prevent this. Am I doing anything wrong. When it spudders it brings my front end right back down the earth. If it didn't do that, I could hold one for a while. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine does this as well. I have heard alot about this subject (Sputtering) and people say you can fix it by adjusting the floats, but I just learned how to do wheelies in Second and Third

I was having the same problems, i read a reply on here somewhere that said to adjust you floats to 15mm, they come stock at 13mm, and it works. The reason it spits and sputters is because it is gettin to much gas, when you adjust the floats it does not let as much gas in and there for does not spit and sputter. I dont know how you are doin your wheelies, but the key is using your back brake, clutch and gas to keep it steady.

Good Luck

there is not an adjustment for the floats, you have to take the carbs off and have a float gauge. it is kinda alot of drama for about 2 minutes worth of work but if you took the bike (or just the carbs would be best) to a motorcycle shop they could adjust them for you no problem!!!
