Raptor jetting with White Bros E slip-on????
#1
I just got a new white bros E-series slip on, along Pro-flow design adapter with a new K&N. I also trimmed out the tabs that are in the snorkel so its a straight shot now. The average elevation of Michigan where I live is 900 ft above sea level.
Ok now i just started it up and it seems to miss a bit when i give it some gas so Im thinking its running lean. I cant ride it yet so I cant try and see if its lean by plug color.
What is everyone running as far as carb settings for just the slip-on and pro-design filter adapter and KN with tabs trimmed out of the snorkel?? The instructions for the pipe said i shouldnt have to rejet but like i said i got the filter and trimmed the power robbing tabs out of the snorkel.
Another question how many disks are you guys running i have the stock 12 on right now but might change that along with getting the quiet core and I believe i saw a turndown for it also.

If you go to the White Bros web site, I believe they will give you the correct jetting for your e-series, or call them, they are very helpful. I have an e-series with 13 discs and a pro-circuit head pipe. If I remember, the jetting is at 155, I will check and get back with you for sure. I put the K&N filter on also. You will have to rejet with those mods you made. The raptor out the door stock is on the lean side, ask dealer or your favorite service guy. The plug is not the end-all indicator of a lean condition.
