Gents,
I just received my FMFs the other day and while changing my jetting on the left side carb I saw a piece of white plastic between my main jet and the washer. No problem, I put it back in place after changing the jet, but when I went to do the right side, it did NOT have this plastic piece at all. I just figured it was for the choke or something on the left side. Then I look at my buddies right side carb and he DOES have this piece on it. NO Im confused as to if it is needed or not, and what does it do? My 99 BAnsahee seemed to run fine before., Im just curious as to what it is...ANy help is greatly appreciated...

Are you talking about the little plastic piece that you slip on the main jet? I know that mine had both and I believe that they are for keeping the fuel from foaming when it's about the enter the main jet.

Anti-foam or anti-vortex guard there should be one in both carbs.
